Keep Going!

(ThySistas.com) It’s a new month, and you may be feeling like you haven’t really accomplished anything this year or accomplished not that much of your long list of goals.  Fret not and keep going!  What goals did you set that you need to revisit and fine tune to get your head back in the game?  Don’t listen to those naysayers either, you got this once you let go of those distractions, you can keep going!

There is no one formula to achieve success or greatness.  For every calling and purpose requires different paths in life to be taken.  You can’t use the formula that someone else uses and expect to gain the success that they have gained.  That’s called being a copycat.  On social media, everyone is talking about how they can give you their sauce (blueprint to their success), but they are the only person who can bring the magic (obtain success).  Tis true, tis very true and that’s why you have to keep going and figure out what works best for you.

If you find it difficult to get support from your family or friends, don’t quit.  Instead, find a community of people who love doing what you are doing.  Whether you’re introverted and extroverted, connecting with like-minded people is a must do if you want to obtain success.  No one person can achieve greatness alone.  You may want the people closest to you to support you but the reality is, they may never support you and that’s ok.  My best friends don’t read every article that I write and I’m ok with that.  They support me in other ways and their lack of support in one area of my life, doesn’t stop me from doing anything.  I choose to keep going no matter who supports me.

Keep going when people talk about your “lil business” that you just started.  Don’t allow other people fears to become your reality.  More than likely, they have so much to say about your “lil business” because they haven’t built the courage to start their own.  Traditionally, men and women worked one job until they retired and made what they called a decent living.  Nothing is wrong with that if that’s your choice of a lifestyle.  However, if you want to achieve success or greatness in life, it will most definitely require you to have multiple streams of income.

There are seven streams of income that most millionaires have:

1. Earned income
2. Profit income
3. Interest income
4. Dividend income
5. Rental income
6. Capital gains
7. Royalty income

You may not be interested in becoming the next millionaire but we can all use some extra cash in our bank accounts if we keep going and doing the things that brings us joy and that we can surely monetize from.

Maybe you’ve tried a new adventure or tried to create something and it failed or was a total flop, keep going!  Figure out the lessons to be learned and get back to creating.  Thomas Edison failed 1,000 times before the success of his invention of the lightbulb.  When asked in an interview about his 1,000 failures, Edison stated, “I didn’t fail 1,000 times.  The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps.”  That’s exactly the approach or mindset that you need when you face obstacles or failures in life, keep going!
