(ThySistas.comGood question. Hell week will be a complete mystery to anyone who never went to college or university. But, for previous students, the very mention of those two words will bring back memories that make their entire bodies shiver.

Hell week, is a way that lecturers and course runners separate the best from the rest. It’s also a way of making sure that you’re prepared for the deadlines and pressures of the real world once you leave university. But what exactly does it involve? That can vary depending on your course. Usually, though it will be a week that is packed full of both exams and coursework deadlines that must completed. If you don’t get everything in on time while maintaining your studies for the exams, you can fail the course in some cases. Other times, it will just have a knock on effect, obliterating your high-grade point average.

Unfortunately, when asked why your grades are low at a certain point in the year, a potential employer won’t accept hell week as an excuse. You’re going to have to know how to deal with it. Luckily for you, we’ve got some great solutions.

Understand When It Begins

If you’re lucky, you’ll have a lecturer who will tell you exactly when hell week is. They will label it as such and perhaps tell you stories about students who broke down in the past when it arrived. In other cases hell week will only be heard listening to hushed whispers of older students in higher years. Usually, hell week will be in the month before the end of the semester. If you can’t see it check your planner for a time when all the deadlines arrive at once. You might find you are one of the lucky ones. Not all courses have a hell week.

Ease The Load

If you find that you have so many assignments and deadlines you’re not going to get everything done, figure out which ones are the most important and focus on those. By doing this, you should be able to make sure that you maintain your high-grade average. Don’t forget, there are services that you can use to make things easier. With a paper writing service, you can get papers written for you. You can check out the quotes of services like this online. Typically, they are written by people who whizzed your course already.

Plan Ahead

If you know when hell week arrives, you might be able to get ahead of it. Hell week isn’t as bad if you can get some of your course assignments out of the way early. Don’t forget, in college, you will typically be given all your assignments at once. They won’t be discussed or even officially given to you, but they will be on the planner. As such, you don’t have to wait for the lecturer to discuss them before you get started. You can jump ahead, and some lecturers expect students to do this.

Take this advice, and you should be able to survive the infamous hell week that all students fear. Good luck, you’ll need it.
