Making A Long Distance Relationship Work Is Easier Than You Think.

(ThySistas.com) Love is such a wonderful thing that works in mysterious ways. The one thing we know about love is that we don’t pick and choose who to fall in love with. It just happens, we feel it inside us, and we know that we love this person.
Sometimes, we fall in love with someone that lives on the other side of the world to us. Perhaps you met while they were on holiday over here and you just connected and have been in touch ever since. Or, you met online, and that’s how your love sparked. Either way, loving someone that lives far away can be tough. You think it’s impossible that a relationship will ever work. But, is it?
The answer is no, it’s not impossible. In fact, you can easily make a long distance relationship work. But, there are some key things to 
take into account first:
Commitment
There’s no point getting into a long distance relationship if you aren’t committed. Better yet, you have to be committed to a long-term future. Being in a relationship with someone who lives far away can be a lot of hard work. Ideally, you should be in love with the person and have aspirations of marrying them one day. Otherwise, what’s the point?
Planning
The above point leads nicely into this point, which is that you need to have some sort of a plan in mind. You need to think about where you want this relationship to go. Naturally, you’ll want to get to a point where the two of you can live together and hopefully get married. In which case, you should start thinking about your future and planning for that moment. Talk to each other about it, talk about what both of you want, and where you both want to end up. This is important because of some legal issues too. If one of you has to move and live in a new country, then you’ll need to apply for a spouse visa beforehand. In which case, you have to plan for that too! Always think about the future and plan for what lies ahead by saving money and getting ready for a new life together in the future.
Trust
Long distance relationships will only work if there is trust between the two of you. You’ll both be far away from one another for weeks, months, maybe even years on end. There will come a time when you’re finally together in the same place, but you have to trust each other during the times when you’re separated. Otherwise, you’ll both drive yourselves crazy, and the relationship just won’t work. Without trust, you will both get paranoid, which leads to arguments, which leads to breakups. This is why it’s important to get to know someone before you end up in a long-distance relationship with them. Trust them, gain their trust, and things will be alright.
Many people think that long distance relationships are doomed to fail. That’s simply not the case. Sure, there are times where a long distance relationship just won’t work. But, they can work and be so amazing, you just need commitment, planning, and trust.
