Virgo Full Moon: On Your Mark, Get Set, GO!

Virgo is the sign of the self-improvement, health consciousness and meaningful service. Virgo rules the 6^th in astrology, our house of health and service. This house also deals with our ability to cope with adversity, personal growth, daily routines and one’s ability to be of service to self and others. Virgo’s motto is “I ANALYZE, therefore I AM”.

This will be a very intense full moon for those who have been dragging their feet throughout winter and for those creative beings who struggle to find that one passion to focus on in the present moment. Virgo is the sign that actually gets things done after they have been analyzed. Unlike many of us, Virgo isn’t a sign that lingers in prolonged thought… Virgo energy analyzes the experience at hand coupled with what’s needed for personal growth and decides what needs to be done daily for self improvement and optimal health. This process isn’t done for the sake of thinking but for the sake of acting and reaping.

Virgo energy is about action! You can pray your days away but until you spring into action your situation will remain the same. Paired with the Spring Equinox which is bringing a sense of renewal, a reawakening of new ideas, new life, new energy and new patterns, the Virgo Full moon presents new opportunities and possibilities that we may not have thought of or feel we aren’t prepared for. We also must look at the placement of the Sun which is moving into Aries on March 21st bringing that fire energy. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and is well known for leading the pack, personal magnetism, enthusiasm and a burning desire to play the game. Aries is ruled by the planet Mars which drives energy, passion and determination. Mars can be destructive or constructive, meaning you can use the energy constructively to build what you desire or you can use it to destroy all you have accomplished and built thus far. Remember, if you are not making the decision, Mars will unkindly make a selection for you and rarely will the lesson be an easy, breezy one.
