(ThySistas.com) “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10

No one knows the day or hour when it’s time to take that leap of faith and jump into whatever that you have been thinking about doing heavily.  Usually you know it’s time to take a leap of faith when you move beyond mental thoughts of taking that leap and you begin being affected physically.  You may lose sleep, you may get headaches and other physical ailments.  Pay attention to the universe it’s trying to tell you something.

If you activate your faith, you will know that once you take the leap of faith, opportunities will begin to flow into your life.  Most people ponder when to quit their jobs to move on to something better when the atmosphere at your job begins to shift.  You become more stressed on that job, you’ll tolerate less, you may even daydream more about that glorious day when you will walk out of the doors and into a space where you can thrive.

I have quit a job where I was making great money and had great benefits, but I wasn’t happy and it consumed too much of my time.  You also don’t have to associate taking a leap of faith with quitting your job.  You can take a leap of faith and start a new ministry at your church or ask for a raise on your current job.  Whatever your leap of faith is, do it!

You will never plan the perfect exit, sometimes you have to just take that leap and JUMP.  According to Genesis 12:1, “God directed Abraham to leave Ur, leave his kindred, and dwell in tents for the rest of his life. Abraham started out with his father and his nephew, Lot, and got as far as Haran. Only when his father died did Abraham move on to the promised land with Lot. At long last he had come to the place of God’s appointment.”

We all know that Abraham became a very great man of God but it took him to take a leap of faith and leave behind what was familiar to him and then he made it to God’s designed appointment for his life: entering into the Promise Land.  You can’t get to where God wants to lead you worrying about stuff that doesn’t matter to Him.  God could care less about your high paying job and benefits, He don’t care about who’s going to talk about you, He will elevate you in the face of your enemies, He will provide for your every need once you step out and take that leap of faith.
