(ThySistas.comAnd Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. – Mark 11:22-24 ESV

I use my faith in God over my fears daily.  This certainly doesn’t mean that I don’t have times where I doubt myself or get scared about the unknown or unforeseen things that happen in my life.  I have learned that during the most difficult and best times in my life, I exercise my faith and trust Him wholeheartedly.

Having faith in God over your doubts is a discipline that develops over time and that is ongoing.  I know that when I have faith in God, He provides exactly what I need, in His timing not mine.  Most people want to rush the process of what they deem is “waiting on God.”  But having faith in God initially means that you believe He’s capable of doing whatever you ask Him for.  Once you receive what you’ve prayed and ask for, He usually gives you more than you can ever think, imagine or ask Him for.

Another scripture I love to refer back to on faith is:

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.James 2:14-26 ESV

You have to have faith and do the work when you want God to bless you or provide something for you.  For example, you can’t have faith that God will bless you with a successful business but you don’t do the work to help make that business a success.  Your doubts are killing your ability to have faith and do the work needed to have what you desire, manifested.  My faith in God teaches me that regardless of my doubts, if I exercise my faith and do the work, He will provide everything for me including the connections and resources that I need.

As a Christian, I have crazy faith as the world calls it.  I’m don’t walk around broadcasting my profession of faith (unless I’m asked to) but if you were to look at my life, you will definitely see that I have faith the size of a mustard seed for the BIG dreams and goals in my life.  My gratitude frequency is so high for the things that I’m believing by faith, for God to do in my life, regardless of my fears or doubts.  Faith is the original root of the law of attraction.  Having faith in God is the only assurance you need for greater things to come in your life.

It doesn’t matter where you are on your spiritual journey, exercise using your faith, do the work and God will do exceedingly and abundantly in your life.
