Use a Routine
If you are someone that naturally plans, then it will come quite naturally to you to make plans and a routine. But it isn’t easy for everyone. It is pretty important to have one on the busy days, though. So usually, during the week, a routine is great to implement. You will know who is doing what and when. It helps you to stay on top of things and get everything done that you need to. Not promising that it will stop any rushing around, but at least you’ll know where you are meant to be rushing around to.
Use Your Smartphone
Tablets and smartphones are there to make our life easier. We can keep tabs on where people are and get in touch with them easily. There are plenty of other uses for them these days, though. You can use your phone to do grocery shopping, make doctors appointments, pay bills, find recipes, and even make a digital scrapbook. So make sure that you are using that little device for your benefit. If you find that you always run out of battery when you are out and about, you can even get an app to help you charge it back up. Just before the battery runs out, you could use an app like Chargeapp to locate a charging station that is near you. Then you can charge it and have a quick rest before getting back to business.
Buy in Bulk
One thing that can be a struggle as a parent is doing the grocery shopping. If you have kids in tow, it can just be a stressful event. But whenever you get to the store, it is a good idea to buy things in bulk. Not only does it reduce the number of times that you need to go to the store, but it also helps to ensure that there are always things in the house to eat. That always helps when you have a growing and hungry.
Multitask
One thing that we as women are great at is the ability to multitask. So if you need to workout, do it with the kids. You could go for a walk or jog with the stroller, or make going to the park part of your exercise and chase the kids around the park. You could do some squats in between making a meal or sit ups when playing with the kids on the carpet. Think about what you need to get done, and there will be a few simple ways to combine more than one thing at a time.
