(ThySistas.com) Fall is in full swing and there is so much to look forward to. All things pumpkin spice is nice of course, but fashion trends and finds are at the top of my list as well. For the fashion forward full figured woman, it can be hard to get your hands on things that compliment your frame. While designers have come a long way with offering equally fashionable items as straight sizes, it still takes a little bit more effort to really vamp up your wardrobe.

There are rules that some people swear by and that is fine, but in today’s fashion world, there are more options than ever for the plus size girl. Thus, you can pretty much wear what your heart desires. With that, if you haven’t done your fall/winter shopping yet, here are some finds for you to get right now that are trendy, glamorous and all kinds of fun!

Military Jacketsblackwomanmaxidress

These jackets are great because you can do so much with them. Dress them up with some slacks and a nice blouse, or down with some jeans and riding boots. Either way, it’s a nice piece to have in your closet. Look at Torrid.com for a wide range of styles and sizes like this one.

Moto Jacket

Along the same lines as military jacket are moto jackets, another one of my favorites. These are super chic and make a good addition to an all black ensemble. Most of them have great zipper and or button details that just give your look an edgy, modern feel. Ashley Stewart has a really cute one here.

Sequin

Does this ever really go out of style? I love sequin, especially for special occasions. I imagine that there will be plenty of opportunities this fall and winter to rock a lovely sequin dress or blouse. Some may stray away from the material, but it’s all in the style, cut and shape of the item. Here is a sexy dress that is sure to turn heads and make you feel like a dream.

Maxi Dress

When it comes to dresses, maxis are queen. The patterns and cuts may be updated, but nothing beats a great maxi dress. I love for mine to have some kind of structure like an empire waist to enhance my curves. Boutiques are an ideal source to find some unique items. This one from Slayboo is to die for.

Fur

Who doesn’t love a cute fur vest? These can be hard to come by, but when you find one that you really like AND that looks good on you, snatch it up! Forever21 has some great pieces in their plus size line and this faux fur vest is one of them. Now, with their sizing, it is junior plus. I have found that their clothing definitely is made for larger women, but those on the smaller end of the full figured spectrum seem to have better results. All in all, I have been shopping their plus size line for seven years (since it launched) and I am satisfied.

Fall is your runway this year. With these finds and so many more, you will be styling and profiling all the way through spring.
