Embrace Your Ugly with the Scorpio Full Moon.

The Scorpio full moon is granting us the energy necessary to dig deeply into that which is hidden, the mysteries within and the dark side of our personality… that which we’d dare to call “ugly“. So often we strive to change the things we dislike and hold tightly to that which we and those around us accept and approve of. We get distracted by the beautiful, shinny things and at times we willingly follow them off course for the sake of momentary pleasure. We devote time and energy into making our homes, cars, closets, bodies, job title, bank account and lifestyle appear more beautiful. We have no problem embracing beauty, enhancing beauty and investing in beautiful things, even if there is no benefit for us on a soul level.
Now when it comes to that which we find distasteful, unappealing and unattractive, we run and attempt to hide from it. When we meet new people, we sell ourselves solely on the traits we see as “beautiful“. We claim we’re putting our “best foot forward” although we usually walk ourselves into the deeper, darker side of our own selves. When we fail to realize that which is within us, we naturally attract it into our outer reality. If you do not know who you are, look at your lover. Our romantic partnerships are the mirrors reflecting our truths, beliefs, thoughts, life path, understanding and abilities.
This mirror reflection is the reason so many of us have multiple love affairs a year, some of us on a monthly basis. This self-realization process is also the reason every love interest is amazing and intriguing in the beginning yet something we hate and rush to distance ourselves from in the end.
Ask yourself, if I am truly so “beautiful“, why does everything I attract turn out so ugly? You can’t hide! Everywhere you look, there you are…
It’s not them, its YOU! Stop running from the truth of who you are. Embrace the ugly, the shadow side within that most would rather pretend does not exist. Be honest! Bad teeth, smelly feet, bad breath, overweight/underweight, scary, liar, cheater, user, abuser, molestor, snitch, moody, hater, jealous, thief, illiterate, whore, fool, jerk, asshole… the list goes on and on.
You may find that under your makeup, name brand clothing, luxury car and prestigious job title you are hiding a multitude of ugly. That’s okay! When we admit and accept who we are in totality, we are able to transform that energy, traits and characteristics into more positive channels. Channels that will attract more of what we desire in life and please do not limit your desires only to material things. The healing, cleansing, relief, peace, love, pleasure and growth we desire requires full admittance, full responsibility, self awareness and the desire to transform.
